Biography
Shizuka was a Tokyo band built around the voice of Shizuka Miura and the guitar of her husband Maki Miura, both drawn from the orbit of *Fushitsusha*. Their music set slow, mournful, folk-like chanting against waves of psychedelic noise, a contrast captured on their only studio album, 'Heavenly Persona' for #PSF Records#. Mostly a live act, the band left a small, haunting catalogue that has grown steadily in reputation since Miura's death in 2010.
