Biography
Sinister is a Dutch death metal band from Schiedam, formed in 1988 and led throughout by Aad Kloosterwaard, first on drums and, after the band's 2005 reformation, on vocals. Their early albums for #Nuclear Blast Records#, 'Cross the Styx', 'Diabolical Summoning' and 'Hate', made them pioneers of Dutch death metal, and later line-ups sustained the band through 'Aggressive Measures', 'Creative Killings', 'Afterburner' and 'Deformation of the Holy Realm' in 2020, despite a split between 2003 and 2005 and constant personnel changes.
