Biography

Siouxsie Sioux is an English singer, songwriter, and producer, celebrated as one of the most influential figures of the post-punk era. She rose to fame as the frontwoman of Siouxsie and the Banshees, a band that pioneered a new sound with their 1978 debut album 'The Scream' on #Polydor# Records. Her distinctive, commanding vocals and avant-garde aesthetic defined the band's journey through acclaimed albums like 'Juju' and 'Peepshow'. Simultaneously, she explored more experimental, percussion-driven music with her side project, The Creatures. After the Banshees disbanded, she released her critically lauded solo album, 'Mantaray', in 2007, cementing her legacy as an uncompromising and ever-evolving artist.
