Biography
Skullflower are a London noise rock band formed in 1987 and led throughout by guitarist Matthew Bower. With drummer Stuart Dennison as his longest-serving partner, Bower moved from the sludgy guitar assault of 'Form Destroyer' (1989) and 'Xaman' (1990) toward free improvisation and drone. Put on hold in 1996 and revived in 2002, the band's recent incarnation features Lee Stokoe and Samantha Davies alongside Bower, with albums including 'Malediction' (2009), 'Draconis' (2014) and 'The Spirals of Great Harm' (2017).
