SLIFT

SLIFT is a French rock trio from Toulouse known for their titanic, sci-fi-infused sound that merges heavy psychedelic rock with stoner metal and space rock's cosmic scope. Comprised of brothers Jean and Rémi Fossat and drummer Canek Flores, the band formed in 2016. They gained widespread recognition for their intense live shows and sprawling concept albums. Their 2020 double LP, 'UMMON', was a critical breakthrough, showcasing their blend of krautrock repetition and metal intensity. Following its success, the band signed to the iconic American label #Sub Pop# for the release of their ambitious 2024 album, 'ILION', further cementing their status as a major force in modern heavy music.
