Biography
Smak is a Serbian progressive rock band from Kragujevac, formed in 1971 by guitarist Radomir Mihailović Točak, drummer Slobodan Stojanović and bassist Zoran Milanović. With singer Boris Aranđelović and keyboardist Laza Ristovski, the classic lineup made Smak one of the biggest Yugoslav rock acts of the 1970s, through albums such as 'Smak', 'Crna dama' and 'Stranice našeg vremena', which fused progressive and jazz rock with blues and Serbian folk music around Točak's virtuoso guitar. The band split in 1981 and has since returned in several lineups and for major reunion concerts.
