Biography
Snag is a Milwaukee-based trio that channels environmental, economic, and existential anxiety into a potent form of emotional hardcore. Formed in 2016, the band, consisting of Bryan Wysocki, Sam Szymborski, and Peter Murphy, quickly established themselves with a sound that merges the frantic energy of screamo with melodic, emotionally-driven passages. Often described as "climate-core," their lyrics directly confront apocalyptic dread and social justice issues. After a series of EPs and splits, they released their debut full-length, 'Snag', in 2019, followed by 'Death Doula' in 2021. In 2026, they signed with #Deathwish Inc.# for their third LP, 'All The Cages Holding Us Will One Day Turn To Dust', further solidifying their place as a vital voice in the DIY underground.
