Biography
Snot was an American funk metal band from Santa Barbara, formed in 1995. Fronted by Lynn Strait, they released 'Get Some' (1997) before Strait's death in a 1998 car accident ended the band; the all-star tribute album 'Strait Up' followed in 2000. Surviving members revived Snot in 2014. The band's mix of funk, metal and punk made them cult heroes of the nu metal era.
