Biography
Spangle call Lilli line is a Japanese post-rock and downtempo trio from Shimokitazawa, Tokyo, formed in 1998 around singer Kana Otsubo and guitarists Ken Fujieda and Kiyoaki Sasahara. Their drifting, electronic-tinged songs pair twin guitars with Otsubo's airy vocals across albums from the 2001 debut 'Spangle call Lilli line' through 'PURPLE', 'ghost is dead', 'Remember' and 'Lull'. Early drummer Nobuyuki Kabasawa left in 2003; the core trio has remained unchanged since.
