Biography
Tokyo band Spitz, formed in 1987, is one of Japan's most durable pop rock acts, with an unchanged quartet led by singer and songwriter Masamune Kusano. After a slow start on #Polydor#, the 1995 single 'Robinson' and the album 'Hachimitsu' made them stars, and albums such as 'Hayabusa' sustained a career of tens of millions of domestic sales, built on jangly guitars, melodic writing and Kusano's distinctive high voice.
