Splash

Biography

Splash was a Swedish progressive and jazz-rock band of the 1970s. It released just two albums, 'Splash' in 1974 and 'Splash 2' in 1978, both rooted in the instrumental, improvisation-friendly sound of Sweden's progg era. The band left almost no paper trail beyond those records: no stable published line-up, no international releases and no later reunion activity has been documented. Its two albums survive as obscure artefacts of Scandinavian progressive rock, traded by collectors rather than kept in print by any label.
