Teenage punk band from Louisville, Kentucky, whose brief career produced a self titled EP in 1985 and one studio album, 'Skag Heaven', in 1987, both on #Homestead Records#. Singer Peter Searcy, guitarists David Grubbs and Brian McMahan, bassist Clark Johnson and drummer Ben Daughtrey played furious, melodic music compared with *H眉sker D眉* that anticipated post hardcore and emo. The band split in 1987, and its members later shaped *Slint*, *Gastr del Sol* and other key American underground acts.
