Biography
Starset is a cinematic rock band from Columbus, Ohio, formed in 2013 by Dustin Bates. Mixing alternative rock, electronics and orchestral sweep, their concept albums 'Transmissions', 'Vessels', 'Divisions', 'Horizons' and 'Silos' unfold a science-fiction story about the Starset Society and a signal from space, carried live by theatrical, spacesuited performances. Fronted by Bates alongside Ron DeChant, Brock Richards and Adam Gilbert, the Columbus quartet has kept the same four-man line-up since its founding in 2013.
