Biography
Steaming Coils was a Los Angeles experimental rock group active from 1983 to about 1990, built around Brad Laner and David Chrisman with help from Los Angeles Free Music Society players. Its three studio albums, 'Never Creak', 'The Tarkington Table' and 'Breaded', mix progressive rock ambition, psychedelic pop, improvisation and tape collage. Laner later led *Medicine* and recorded as *Electric Company*.
