Biography
Stereo Total was a Berlin duo of French singer Fran莽oise Cactus and German musician Brezel G枚ring, active from 1993 to 2021. Their playful, deliberately dilettante songs mixed chanson, punk, disco and lo-fi electronics across languages, on albums including 'Monokini', 'My Melody', 'Musique Automatique' and 'Paris-Berlin'. Their single 'I Love You, Ono' became an unlikely advertising hit. The duo ended when Cactus died of breast cancer in February 2021.
