Stuck

Stuck is a Chicago-based post-punk band known for its frenetic, dissonant, and cathartic sound. Formed in 2018 by vocalist/guitarist Greg Obis, the group channels the anxious energy of noise rock and art-punk, drawing comparisons to acts like *The Jesus Lizard* and *Wire*. Their music is characterized by atonal guitar riffs, a precise and powerful rhythm section, and vulnerable, often yelped vocals. They debuted with the album 'Change is Bad' in 2020, released on Obis's own label #Born Yesterday Records#. Their work, including the 2023 follow-up 'Freak Frequency', explores themes of existential dread, grief, and societal decay with a raw, confrontational intensity.
