Biography
Takeshi Terauchi and The Bunnys were a Japanese eleki instrumental band formed in 1966 by guitarist Takeshi 'Terry' Terauchi after he left The Blue Jeans. Terauchi's frantic Mosrite guitar, all tremolo picking and vibrato, defined the eleki sound, and the group recorded a run of albums for #King Records# including 'Let's Go Terry!', 'Seich艒 Eleki-Bushi' and 'Let's Go Classics', electrifying Japanese folk tunes and classical themes. Terauchi departed in 1968 to revive The Blue Jeans, while the Bunnys carried on without him until 1971.
