Biography
Tape are a Swedish electroacoustic trio formed in Stockholm in 2000 by brothers Andreas and Johan Berthling with Tomas Hallonsten. Mixing acoustic instruments with electronics in a lyrical, minimalist style, they debuted with 'Opera' on #H盲pna# in 2002 and followed it with 'Milieu', 'Rideau' and 'Luminarium', touring internationally while keeping an unchanged lineup and a quietly distinctive, instantly recognisable sound.
