Biography
American singer-songwriter and visual artist from Lubbock, Texas, born in Wichita, Kansas. Terry Allen is a central figure of outlaw and Texas country whose spare piano, dry humour and story songs produced the landmark albums 'Juarez' and 'Lubbock (on Everything)'. Equally respected as a sculptor, painter and conceptual artist with work in major museum collections, he has maintained both careers from a base in Santa Fe, New Mexico, recording eclectic, uncompromising albums into his eighties.
