Biography
The Deviants were a British underground band formed in London in 1967 by Mick Farren. Their albums 'Ptooff!' (1968) and 'Disposable' (1968) fused psychedelia, satire and proto-punk from the heart of the Ladbroke Grove scene; Farren revived the name in 1977–78. Farren's writing and the band's music together documented the British counterculture from inside its own milieu. Their influence endures.
