Biography
The Fuzztones, formed in New York City in 1980 by frontman Rudi Protrudi, are the defining band of the 1980s garage rock revival. 'Lysergic Emanations' (1985) broke them in Europe, a Los Angeles line up cut 'In Heat' (1989) and 'Braindrops' (1991), and Protrudi has led ever changing line ups ever since, most recently on 'NYC' (2020) and 'Encore' (2022).
