The Mayan Factor

The Mayan Factor is an American alternative and progressive rock band from Baltimore, Maryland, formed in 2002. Known for their atmospheric and ethnic-influenced sound, the band incorporates elements of rock, alternative, and progressive rock. Their early work, including the albums "In Lake 'ch" and "44", was fronted by the powerful and memorable vocals of Ray Schuler. Following Schuler's untimely death in 2011, the band went on hiatus before reuniting in 2015 with new vocalist Lenny Cerzosie Jr. The revived lineup has since released new music, continuing to build on their unique and emotionally resonant sound.
