Biography
Hershey, Pennsylvania indie pop band The Ocean Blue, formed in 1986 by David Schelzel, Bobby Mittan and Rob Minnig, made jangling, wistful albums for #Sire Records# beginning in 1989 and continue to record, most recently 'Kings and Queens / Knaves and Thieves' (2019). Their melancholic, British-inflected pop earned them a lasting college-radio following. The three founders were school friends in Hershey.
