Biography
The Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower, formed in San Diego in 2001, played a confrontational fusion of post-hardcore, punk jazz and noise rock. Fronted by Brandon Welchez with Charles Rowell and Brian Hill, the band released 'Dissertation, Honey' and 'Love in the Fascist Brothel', won San Diego's Best Punk Act award twice, and disbanded in 2006. Their brief career left a cult reputation for chaos, invention and genuinely unpredictable, confrontational live performance art.
