Biography
Toad were a Swiss hard rock trio formed in Basel in 1970 by guitarist Vic Vergeat with ex-*Brainticket* members Werner Fröhlich on bass and Cosimo Lampis on drums. Their debut album 'Toad' (1971) and its single 'Stay!' charted in Switzerland, and 'Tomorrow Blue' (1972) and 'Dreams' (1975) followed. A ferocious live act little known outside Switzerland, the band continued in changing lineups until about 1995.
