Biography
Tokyo Shoegazer is a Japanese rock band known for its dense, reverb-heavy sound that draws from shoegaze, post-rock, and noise-pop. Formed initially for a one-off performance in October 2010, the group's powerful reception led to a full-time career. Their debut album, 'Crystallize', was released in 2011, establishing them as a key act in Japan's modern shoegaze scene. After a hiatus, the band reformed in 2019, releasing new material like 'Moondiver' and touring internationally. They are noted for their contributions to the *My Bloody Valentine* tribute album 'Yellow Loveless' and have released music on labels including #299 Japan Records# and #Graveface Records#.
