Biography
Triana was a Spanish trio formed in Seville in 1974 by Jesús de la Rosa Luque, Eduardo RodrÃguez Rodway and drummer Juan José 'Tele' Palacios. Blending progressive rock with flamenco, they pioneered Andalusian rock on 'El Patio' in 1975, 'Hijos del agobio' in 1977 and the platinum selling 'Sombra y luz' in 1979. After three more pop leaning albums, the band ended when de la Rosa died in a car crash in October 1983.
