Biography
True Widow are a Dallas, Texas trio formed in November 2007, comprising Dan Phillips on guitar and vocals, Nicole Estill on bass and vocals and Timothy 'Slim' Starks on drums. Their self-described 'stonegaze' sound pairs slow, drop-tuned stoner-rock weight with shoegaze atmosphere and traded male and female lead vocals. Four albums, from their 2008 debut to 'Avvolgere' in 2016, were made by the same unchanged lineup.
