Biography
Ur Kaos was a Swedish experimental rock trio of Lach'n Jonsson on drums, Johan Hedrén on piano and keyboards, and Mats Paulsson on bass, active on #Bauta Records# from 1987. Their albums 'Ur Kaos' (1987) and 'A Terrible Beauty Is Born' (1990) favour slow, unresolved tension and a sooty, desolate atmosphere often compared with *This Heat*. Their records remain cult items among collectors of Scandinavian progressive and experimental rock.
