Biography
Vanden Plas is a German progressive metal band from Kaiserslautern, formed in 1986 by Andy Kuntz, Stephan Lill and Andreas Lill, later joined by Torsten Reichert and G眉nter Werno. That five man line-up recorded the band's whole classic catalogue, from 'Colour Temple' in 1994 through 'The God Thing', 'Far Off Grace', 'Beyond Daylight' and the concept albums 'Christ 0' and 'The Seraphic Clockwork', blending technical progressive metal with the members' experience in theatre and musical productions. Werno departed in 2023 after more than thirty years; Alessandro Del Vecchio replaced him for the 2024 album 'The Empyrean Equation of the Long Lost Things'.
