Biography
Verdena are an alternative rock band from Albino, Italy, formed in 1995 by brothers Alberto and Luca Ferrari with bassist Roberta Sammarelli. Singing in Italian over grunge and psychedelic textures, they rose with 'Verdena' (1999) and 'Solo un grande sasso' (2001) and deepened their sound on 'Il suicidio dei samurai', 'Requiem' and 'Wow'. Sammarelli departed in 2023, after twenty-seven years in the band, leaving the brothers to continue Verdena as a duo.
