Biography
Visage were a British synthpop band formed in London in 1978 by Steve Strange and Rusty Egan, closely tied to the New Romantic scene around the Blitz club. Staffed initially by members of *Ultravox* and *Magazine*, they scored a major European hit with 'Fade to Grey' and released the albums 'Visage' and 'The Anvil' before splitting in 1985. Strange revived the name for 'Hearts and Knives' in 2013; after his death in 2015 the final album 'Demons to Diamonds' completed the catalogue.
