Biography
Weyes Blood is the project of Natalie Mering, an American singer-songwriter whose music pairs psychedelic folk and chamber pop with the warmth of 1970s soft rock. After early years in the noise underground, including a stint as bassist in *Jackie-O Motherfucker*, she developed her solo sound across 'The Outside Room' (2011) and 'Front Row Seat to Earth' (2016). 'Titanic Rising' (2019), released by #Sub Pop#, brought wide acclaim for its orchestral arrangements and its songs of ecological dread and romantic longing, a direction continued on 'And in the Darkness, Hearts Aglow' (2022).
