Wind

Biography

German psychedelic and progressive rock band of the early 1970s, not to be confused with the later German schlager group of the same name. Their debut 'Seasons' (1971) mixes heavy Hammond organ, fuzzy guitar and long progressive compositions, closing with the sixteen-minute 'Red Morningbird'. A second, more straightforward album, 'Morning', followed before the band split in 1973, after which drummer Lucky Schmidt joined *Aera*.
