Biography
Madrid band Wormed, formed in 1998, play technical brutal death metal wrapped in science fiction imagery, led by vocalist Phlegeton and bassist Guillemoth. Their concept albums 'Planisphaerium' in 2003, 'Exodromos' in 2013, 'Krighsu' in 2016 and 'Omegon' in 2024, released through #Willowtip Records# and #Season of Mist#, follow cosmic character Krighsu through dissonant riffing, blast beats and surreal space horror. Long gaps, lineup changes and the death of drummer Guillermo Calero in 2018 slowed the band, but their records remain landmarks of Spanish extreme metal.
