Biography
Wovenhand is the Denver band led by David Eugene Edwards of *16 Horsepower*. Started in 2001 as a solo outlet, it grew into a full band whose music merges gothic country, folk and heavy rock, driven by Edwards' intense, scripture-soaked songwriting. Albums such as 'Consider the Birds', 'Ten Stones', 'Refractory Obdurate' and 'Silver Sash' trace the shift from stark solo recordings to a powerful collaborative group built around Edwards, guitarist Chuck French and bassist Neil Keener.
