Biography
Wreckless Eric, born Eric Goulden in Newhaven, England, in 1954, is an English singer-songwriter first known for the 1977 #Stiff Records# single 'Whole Wide World'. A cult figure of the punk and new wave era, he spent the 1980s recording with bands such as The Len Bright Combo and Captains of Industry before returning to solo work. His later albums, including collaborations with *Amy Rigby* and the solo records 'AmERICa' and 'Leisureland', confirmed his standing as a witty, stubbornly independent songwriter.
