Biography
Ya Ho Wa 13, also rendered Yahowha 13, were the house band of the Source Family, the Los Angeles spiritual commune led by Father Yod. Formed in Los Angeles in 1973, the core of Father Yod, guitarist Djin Aquarian, bassist Sunflower Aquarian and drummer Octavius Aquarian improvised unrehearsed psychedelic recordings in the commune's garage studio and released them in tiny pressings on #Higher Key#. Albums such as 'Penetration, an Aquarian Symphony' and 'Savage Sons of Ya Ho Wa' made them cult legends of American psychedelic rock.
