Biography
Zyma were a German progressive jazz-rock band from the Heidelberg and Mannheim area, founded in 1972. Named after an artificial ferment and led by keyboard player G眉nter Hornung, the band moved from hard rock into improvisational jazz-rock, adding singer and violinist Dorle Ferber in 1974. They released two privately pressed albums, 'Thoughts' in 1978 and 'Brave New World' in 1979, which remained obscure until reissues introduced their Canterbury-influenced sound to collectors.
