Album Notes & Community Reviews

This release compiles the incredibly brief, highly revered late-1990s output of the German emo outfit 125, Rue Montmartre. The tracks perfectly capture the era's signature blend of intricately arpeggiated, deeply melancholic guitar lines and impassioned, emotionally fraught vocals. Largely overlooked during their initial existence, the reissue secured their posthumous status as a vital, foundational pillar of European Midwest-style emo.
