Album Notes & Community Reviews

Summarizing the brief but deeply impactful career of the Vangelis-led Greek ensemble, this release focuses on their incredibly successful European chart hits. Demis Roussos's impassioned, operatic vocals combined with lush, symphonic pop arrangements established the group as titans of continental psychedelia before their pivot toward avant-garde conceptualism.
