Album Notes & Community Reviews

Preceding their massively acclaimed debut album, this release comprehensively bundles the highly technical, instrumental math-rock EPs that initially garnered the supergroup intense underground buzz. Driven by John Stanier's punishingly precise drumming and relentless, cyclical guitar-tapping loops, the compilation tracks the evolution of their fiercely intellectual, yet surprisingly kinetic aesthetic. It cemented their status as vanguards of the Brooklyn experimental rock scene.
