Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as a CD-only compilation, this release brilliantly combines Big Black's highly influential 'Atomizer' full-length with their abrasive 'Headache' EP and the 'Heartbeat' single. The collection presents Steve Albini's uncompromising noise-rock vision in its entirety, driven by a punishing drum machine and metallic, serrated guitar tones. It stands as a harrowing masterpiece aggressively focused on exposing the darkest, most disturbing elements of American suburbia.
