Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Twist It Babe' compiles Bo Carter's recordings of 1931 to 1940, drawn from the decade in which the former Mississippi Sheiks guitarist was among the most prolific bluesmen on record. Born Armenter Chatmon, Carter had already written 'Corrine, Corrina', the 1928 side that became a standard across blues, country and rock and roll.
