Album Notes & Community Reviews

This brutal retrospective collects the early, highly limited 7-inch singles and compilation tracks of the notorious Swedish noise-rock outfit. Brainbombs famously combined agonizingly slow, repetitive, Stooges-inspired guitar riffs with screeching, out-of-tune trumpets and deeply disturbing, psychopathic lyricism. The compilation captures an intentionally horrific, thoroughly misanthropic aesthetic that heavily influenced the most extreme fringes of underground punk.
