Album Notes & Community Reviews

Gathering pivotal trio sessions recorded in 1949 and 1950, 'Jazz Giant' showcases the pianist at the peak of his formidable abilities. The recordings demonstrate his complex, rapid-fire right-hand phrasing, which essentially translated Charlie Parker's innovations to the keyboard.
