Album Notes & Community Reviews

Gathering strictly instrumental sessions recorded for Pacific Jazz in the mid-1950s, this compilation places the focus entirely on Baker's lyrical trumpet phrasing. The relaxed, highly melodic performances are quintessential examples of the breezy, understated West Coast jazz aesthetic.
