Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released during a period when the architect of rock and roll was recording for Mercury, 'Chuck Berry's Golden Hits' features re-recordings of his classic Chess catalog. Rather than compiling the original singles, the set presents contemporary studio takes of foundational anthems like 'Maybellene' and 'Johnny B. Goode'. The recordings reflect a modernized production approach while retaining the artist's signature guitar style and lyrical wit.
