Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as her breakthrough international release, this compilation gathers Courtney Barnett's first two independently released EPs into a single, cohesive full-length. The tracks showcase her uniquely deadpan, highly observational lyricism layered over loose, left-handed guitar playing heavily indebted to 1990s slacker rock. It firmly established her as one of the most vital, witty voices in the modern indie-rock and singer-songwriter landscapes.
