Album Notes & Community Reviews

Consolidating their first two extended plays, this release showcases the New York band's remarkably distinct fusion of stadium-sized power pop, midwest emo, and 8-bit chiptune synthesis. Driven by a vintage Game Boy used as a primary instrument alongside aggressive rock drumming and delicate vocal melodies, the tracks are intensely energetic and heavily nostalgic. It serves as a defining release for the brief, highly specific mid-2010s chiptune-punk revival.
